Pros

Capgemini has culture and tools for collaborative environment. Senior managements are within reach and can be contacted easily for suggestion. The company is transparent in its operations, and provides various options for growth.

Cons

The company is very big and has offices all across the globe. Disadvantage of this big company is that it cannot be proactive in considering its employees career path. Consultants working at clients place find it more challenging to work with it HR.

Advice to Management

Management need to improve its HR department to provide better service and communications to its employees.

    Employee Friendly
    Greater rewards in consulting and technology services
    Company sincerely trying for change for better

    Project based assignments, no bench time
    Unable to recognize and reward good performance
    Performance evaluation process good but the control mechanizm to enforce proper evaulation is missing
    Promotions are hard to get

    Advice to Management

    Top leadership shows evidences that it wants to listen to employees and make appropriate changes, but the local leaders don't listen as much, they don't apply corporate ethics as much ---- they know there is really no one who can ask them for explanation. Company is trying to implement lots of good changes but the leaders who can really make those changes benefit the organization are not doing their part properly.
