I have been working at Capital One full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Capital One is a good bank to start your career at to gain some banking experience.

Cons

Bad management, the computer system sucks, the employees were extremely overworked and underpaid. You have to watch your back because everyone is out for themselves and will stab you in the back faster than a murderer.

Advice to Management

Stop picking favorites and pay more attention to the people that are putting in the real work.

I have been working at Capital One full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There is a very diverse culture, and you can find some truly amazing talented people. The benefits are great, and there are always events going on monthly. It is a great place for students and recent graduated getting their first start (like myself) When work is over it's over; there is no need to bring the job home.

    Cons

WIth so many employees there is a lot of competition for promotions and opportunities. Although there are some amazing people, honestly it is hard to tell who to trust.

    Advice to Management

Some managers could be a little more personable, and not act as if they are extremely superior to everyone. There also needs to be a lot more consistency in the office regarding polices and procedures; seems as if each manager has their own particular guidelines which can be confusing throughout the dept.

I have been working at Capital One full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They are pretty good with providing scheduled time off.
    decent bonus

    Cons

Your shift changes every 6 months, so unless you are on the top of the pyramid on the matrix then expect the worst.
Offer paid time off , if its not already gone within 2 hrs.
Dont except doctors notes. If your sick or your child is then you have a bucket of 32 hrs you can use for one year. Not easy if you have a 10 hr shift
    Hard to get bonus
Pay not so good for the area

    Advice to Management

Make it easier to get the incentives and extra commission
