    Pros

Quality of intellectual talent - still among the best and brightest although erosion of average intellect has continued from its peak in 2004-2005.

    Cons

Its just like any other bank now - no growth anywhere - dog-eat-dog politics. Political maneouvering trumps meritocracy. Some of the most unprofessional managerial behaviors have started to creep into the culture. Executives make noises from time to time but largely adopt a 'Look away and dont tell' position on such happenings. Some quality does exist at the MVP+ levels but thereafter, its all downhill VP and below.

    Advice to Management

Incubate a separate R&D or breakthrough innovation company and route all the old-time high quality talent into that space - far away from petty banking politics. let the bankers run the rest of the company as they please and do what they like.
