Pros
Culture is great, benefits are amazing, PTO balance is nice
Cons
Huge pay disparity between associates under the same title, they pay external hires significantly more than people who work hard to make multi-level jumps (ie from coordinator level to associate), some Associate level employees are making only a few cents more than call center coordinator employees

Pros
Great benefits, holidays, and on-time pay
Cons
Firstly, the management and leadership of my department are not transparent in direction. Very often, they fall short of being proactive in improving workload. They do not even provide paths of improvement when it comes to self-development.
Secondly, there are hazardous levels of passive aggressiveness and biases (Hint: They will never admit to it). But when you challenge their opinion and beliefs, lower management and upper management address it as you, the individual, "is hard to work with."
Lastly, cross-calibration is a joke. For every six months, on top of your day-to-day duties, you will need to write a report about yourself to pass to your manager, highlighting your accomplishments and best attributes. Then your manager and other managers will discuss different techs across different lines of business and compare notes within a 5-min window.
