-uncapped commission, they make sure everyone is at 100% to plan. You can make a lot if you go over and its not that hard to do. If your team is below they often adjust quota so youre at plan.
-no cold calling! Everyone is a current customer
-you get paid on things you dont sell. You’re constantly getting commission from facilities or hospitals buying consumables
-if you are a go-getter head hunter you will EXCEL, but if you are more of an account manager type you will do just fine
-so much room for a promotion either inside cardinal or not. Once you have medical experience you can go anywhere its just hard getting in to medical without some experience
-great work life balance
Cons
-Backorders which can affect your plan (not a cardinal specific issue though, all medical companies facing backorders)
-personally in my 3 years I have done well but I have seen very hardworking coworkers that are lower to plan than slackers and they can do nothing about it
-every few years they restructure sales and move some people around to better support customer
-they have been having hiring freezes leaving some teams short
-lots of systems you need to learn
