Pros

Above average benefits, marvelous people all around to learn from and to work with, decent training programs, most of it is on the job training.

Cons

Poor organizational definition (huge number of management/directive positions with no one under) creating poor business control; employees are left alone by management expecting people will find ways to get busy, middle management totally lost the "-ship" (leadership, ownership, etc.)

Advice to Management

ResMed-originated management, cut the learning curve at once. Hospira-originated management, get veteran employees highly motivated instead of helping friends without a job.

    Bad management.
    Employee has to waste their time waiting for upper management decisions.

    I worked at CareFusion full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Good benefits , paycheck is consistent .

    Cons

    Managers placate and do not address issues. Complaints or concerns are treated as whining, instead of validating/resolving issues the higher up will actually turn the tables to make the worker feel poorly. When customer site management changes there is no process for educating the customer to deter false expectations. The blame game is RAMPANT. Reporting process is ridiculous and data is corrupt before reports are run . Tech are still held accountable even when they can prove data is wrong.

    Advice to Management

    Spend some time in the field with technicians and know the work environment. Senior Management needs to reach out and speak to the little people .
