I have been working at CareTech Solutions full-time

Pros

Ability to work from home and the travel opportunity

Cons

Poor management skills, too many people trying to do too much, very stressful, very redundant. Communication amongst employees and management is very poor.

Advice to Management

Become more professional and act as leaders not someone who just lucked up and got the position. Communicate better, we are employees not children.

    Pros

    Entry level, new young college grads with very little IT experiance will find a good job here. It is an excellent place to start a career. Working the Help Desk at Caretech lets you dive head first into a corporate IT environment. And gives you real experiance applicable to a variety of career paths.

    Cons

    Advancment opportyunities for analysts are few and far between. The environment is stressful; and fast pace. Everything always has to be done 'yesterday'. The initial training you recieve is very indepth and may feel an inforamtion overload, and service 1 maybe 2 client (Medial Facilities). As you gain more clients however, you do not receive the same indepth training. Analysts are expected to just 'pick-up' on all the 'ins-and-outs' of new client account. The customized ticket reporting software ued by the company is in fact a hinderence to help desk performance. With inconsistant CTI causing analysts to search for the correct CTI when jumping from client to client, from call to call.

    Advice to Management

    The sterile, hands-off, talk-to-the-hand, impersonal attitude is killing the morale of the senior staff. If your seniors aren't satisfied/happy/content, SLAs will soon suffer. Because no one cares!

    Pros

    Free food,near my home,parking was good,the patients were nice to talk to,went for walks with them ,drove the company car

    Cons

    Staff just sat on there bums and done nothing but put staff members down,worse place I've ever worked at,some staff were lazy and didn't care
