    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Cargill full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Opportunities exist if you are willing to move very often and/or work 70+ hours per week consistently

    Cons

Culture values "paying your dues" which can amount to a sort of hazing, communication was often unprofessional and disrespectful, everyone is expected to be on call 24/7

    Advice to Management

Try to encourage consistent behavior and management across different plants, pick the best-performing ones and model the others after them

I have been working at Cargill full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Better job security than most.

    Cons

The male (and particularly white male) promotion train runs strong. Just look at the announcements. Apparently nourishing the world is something only men know how to do. They talk about wanting to thrive as a business and in the community. You can't thrive at the expense of others.

    Advice to Management

Nothing more to say, they aren't paying attention.
