I have been working at Celanese full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great management style, flexible work environment, very collaborative

    Cons

Old management had some very bad habits, and overcoming those and turning the ship around is frustrating and effort intensive.

    Advice to Management

Keep it up, we're all behind you!

I worked at Celanese full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent training and attention to employee development
    Close working relationship with superiors

    Cons

Lack of promotion opportunity (unless you are an exception, it seems that you must leave and return to move up)
Some would say a negative culture, but I did not find this to be different than previous employers
New open-concept offices may be a turn off for many

    Advice to Management

Increase the number of salary bands to provide promotion opportunities for mid-level employees.
Provide stock units (RSUs) as part of the standard compentation package for employee alignment.
