    Pros

    - Great pay for high performers
    - Great career advancement possibilities
    - Great opportunities
    - Opportunity to work in different job functions

    Cons

    - Celanese is a very political company. If they don't like you (even if you are doing a good job), they will not be shy to get rid of you.

    Advice to Management

Senior management could be well to do to foster some longevity in the careers at Celanese. It used to be a great place to work and now people work scared.

  2. "Celanese is fast-paced and offers many opportunities for advancement, but needs to better manage improvement gains."

    Pros

Opportunities in multiple regions. The benefits are good. There is definitely a culture of process improvement. Individuals are given the flexibility to solve issues in their work place.

    Cons

Even though there is process improvement, there is not enough time given on documenting results and solidifying the control plan. Gains are short-sided, so the company ends up working on the same issues over and over.

    Advice to Management

Senior Management must allow project leaders to document their projects and develop a control plans. Control plans need to be reviewed continuously. There is a need to document and share more best practices in the business processes.
