I have been working at Celera Group full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

There is some serious dedication at BHL with only a handful of fellow colleagues that have left in the past several years. Those that have left were either 1.) laid off or 2.) were executive level and looking to grow career.

Cons

Executive level management has had high turn-over so corporate direction is not always clear to those in other levels of management or in the field.

Advice to Management

Maintain communication with employees.

    Was ok before Celera purchase. Everything went down hill afterwards.

    Incompetent upper management after purchase.

    Pros

    Good salary, great potential for very high commission, good benefits, and a lot of autonomy to get the job done. One of the highest potential sales compensation numbers in the industry. Great people below management at this company. No one cares how much you work as long as your numbers are good.

    Cons

    The company changes direction every six months which upsets customers immensely. This causes the blame to fall on you and the office often will not want to deal with you again. Only two reps have worked here more than four years so there is a lot of turnover. More pressure here than anywhere on a DAILY basis to get your numbers up. When you leave to go to another sales job forget about going back into those offices you offended. No work/life balance. Just laid 15% of company off and more to come.

    Advice to Management

    Don't fight the insurance companies to force them to pay exorbitant patient reimbursement. Instead contract with them.
