Pros

- Owners of the company can be reached by even the lowest level employee.
- Schedule is very flexible.
- Employee lines are very reasonably priced.

Cons

- Even with the owners of the company being very reachable, it would take many, many calls to different higher-ups to get anything for you store, or get any problems resolved.
- Most of the communication in the company was done by e-mails.
- Some employees would get many write-ups while others were let go without even one write-up.
- Sales Associates that are promoted to Store Managers are given no training and no difference in pay.

Advice to Management

Please make sure that you're in touch with your stores. Make sure if someone asks for something for their store, you do what you can to get it. Be fair with your employees.

    Not bad for entry level, okay pay

    Cons

    Poor Corporate Structure
    No knowledge of incoming inventory or say
    Terrible communication with corporate office
    All accessories ordered through corporate and that is poor

    Advice to Management

    Listen to employees, take care of them, turnover is about 3 or 4 months at this company.
    Good salesman don't make good managers

    I worked at Cellular Central full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Working as a verizon retailer looks pretty good on a resume. You do have commission opportunities, but they are extremely hard to meet and are not that lucrative in comparison to many other authorized retailers.

    Cons

    Upper management blames everything on its employees without listening to anything from said employees. They try to teach you to be the used car salesmen of phones. They preach to be honest with your customers, but they want you to constantly exaggerate the truth and try to trick your customers into buying things they either don't need or want. Would definitely not recommend working here until they go through some company wide management changes.

    Advice to Management

    Stop trying to make your salesman into liars and cheats to meet your ridiculous standards. Try to make your company an honest sales company for Verizon and something that your employees to be proud of.
