You have the ability to work the way you want to and earn good money. Very little micro managing.

Big red is always trying to stick it to you

if you have a problems with your reps, look at your leaders

    I have been working at Cellular Sales full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Can be a high paying job for someone with little experience.
    Great place to start if you want a career in sales.

    Cons

    Changes that benefit the company seem to happen on the fly while changes benefiting reps take months to implement.
    The wireless market is becoming saturated and it is increasingly difficult to meet company's demand for growth.

    Advice to Management

    Don't be afraid to be 100% honest with your employees. Getting caught telling "little white lies" is just as damaging as blatantly lying.

    Pros

    Great salesmen and women. Great system to allow you to make the most out of every customer. Awesome way to make money.

    Cons

    Too many people working there so there's a lot of competition. The company is more focused on how to make the system work better for upper management than how to make sure everyone is taking enough money home to support their lives.

    Advice to Management

    If you want to boost numbers, invest in your reps with training and meetings. You guys don't hardly have any sales meetings. Invest in your reps by coming out with bonuses and spiffs, not by reducing the amount they take home to motivate them to sell more. The best reps you have, are going to quit.
