Positive Outlook

I worked at Center For Behavioral Health full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Provided opportunity to expand my knowledge and clinical practice

Cons

The salary was terrible for the amount of work expected and the hours necessary to accomplish what was expected. The clinical team was terribly inexperienced and unprofessional.
It was poorly managed and the executive director was unethical in his practices.

Advice to Management

Insist on hiring professional clinicians and monitor the clinic more frequently. Invest in the overall success of the clinic by offering more competitive salaries which in turn can only enchance the quality of care for the patients.

I worked at Center For Behavioral Health full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This type of business is needed to help fight addiction to opiates.

    Cons

I also worked for this company and the two previous reviews are correct. The owners expect people with master's degrees to work for peanuts and to perform several roles such as take money from patients, clean the offices and try to counsel with all of their patients. All this for $16.00 hr. Both owners are unethical in practice and want to keep their patients addicted to methadone. It's the almighty dollar that counts not getting the patients well and drug free. They frowned on counselors helping their patients titrate off methadone and constantly hammered on us to keep the census up.

    Advice to Management

Learn to care about people not your bank account.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Center For Behavioral Health full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Clients are in need of good therapists who care about them and not just taking their money

    Cons

Management will wear you down and tear you down, hoping they can control pretty much everything you do as a counselor here.

    Advice to Management

Only greedy unethical people force counselors to deny services to their cllients because they are short one dollar and then the next day expect them to counsel that same client and gain their trust!
