Pros
-If you want to be all by your self in a work environment, this will be the job for you -You will be constantly onsite at the client sites and get to meet new people and your clients -Since you're all by yourself and barely have any support from your team members, you'll be forced to learn the technologies offered to the customers faster than usual. -Company credit card, this will allow you to purchase goods and equipment for your clients without the need to use your own money then expense it at a later time.
Cons
-There is no career progression path in the consultancy team, you just get bigger customers given to you to manage -Technical management team (leaders) don't encourage the team members to go above and beyond -You're never good enough for a minimum rate pay rise, so make sure you try to negotiate a high salary, to begin with. -If you have made the smallest mistake, Doesn't matter when, it will still be used against you in your annual review, This is a great excuse for the leaders at Centrix not to praise your good work. Basically, it doesn't matter what you do best in your role, its never good enough. -If you get reimbursed for passing an exam, you'll have to pay back to them if you decide to leave 1 year later because of the above reasons. -There is a monthly team meeting which is compulsory for employees to attend to the office at Artarmon. This meeting starts at 7 AM which is 1.5 hours earlier than usual working hours, which also means that you'll have to spend your own time to attend this meeting and get nothing for it (apart from the morning breakfast of course).
