I have been working at Cerner full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Easy to get a job

    Cons

There is really nothing good to say about this company. The executives are inept, people are promoted by who they know not by the quality of their work, huge turnover, no support from team leads or managers, no room for individual thinking, no time for eating, sleeping or having any kind of a life outside of work. 48 hour minimum work week to get a "satisfactory" review, minimal raises, no raise with advancement - you get a "promotion" and then have to prove yourself in the role for a year and then you might get paid for your work.

    Advice to Management

Care about and invest in your current employees.

    Pros

Good learning experience.benefits are decent. Opens many doors especially if you take initiative and learn. Good for go-getters and those wanting to be in a leadership role.

    Cons

I would say that the biggest downside is the lack of adequate training. An employee is often thrown out to the wolves and must "fake it until they make it".
