I worked at Cerner full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Stable Company
Decent ability to move around (after 2 years)
    Good culture and work place
Specific skill set that is being used a lot right now

    Cons

SolutionWorks is probably the worst group inside the company to be placed in.
    Hardly working with code
Performance is purely based on metrics, nothing else
Job title should be more like Customer Solutions (Technical) Analyst or something

    Advice to Management

My advice would be on a more personal level to my manager, so I'll use this as a comment section.. Would I recommend this to a friend? If they were going into the position I was, no. If they were in a different department inside of Cerner, probably. This market is driven a lot on the political landscape so the outlook for 6 months looks good. 2+ years, however, is a question mark.
They should definitely invest in getting Neal public speaking courses or something, because he drops Cerner stock every time he speaks in a public forum.
