I have been working at Cerner full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Easy to get a job

Cons

There is really nothing good to say about this company. The executives are inept, people are promoted by who they know not by the quality of their work, huge turnover, no support from team leads or managers, no room for individual thinking, no time for eating, sleeping or having any kind of a life outside of work. 48 hour minimum work week to get a "satisfactory" review, minimal raises, no raise with advancement - you get a "promotion" and then have to prove yourself in the role for a year and then you might get paid for your work.

Advice to Management

Care about and invest in your current employees.

I have been working at Cerner full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Rather not share any pros. The cons FAR outweigh the pros.

    Cons

Very cult like, kool aid drinking company. It's the most pretentious atmosphere you could imagine. If you have self respect avoid working here. Everyone acts like the CEO is a brilliant, powerful, moving man. In all reality, he's a socially awkward jerk who had a good idea with two other people. If you don't constantly call attention to yourself, your work will not be recognized.

    Advice to Management

Recognize your employees. Just because someone doesn't brag about the work they do, doesn't mean they don't do good work. Stop being so pretentious.
