Pros

Champion is one of the best home improvement companies. Although, the products are priced high and not competitively. It is difficult to sale windows when you are the highest. They believe in the philosophy of doing less business for more money. Champion windows, doors and patio rooms are excellent, but in a struggling economy, many people are not spending the money for the quality. Sales training is excellent given people will actually listen and let you get through your presentation.

Cons

High prices of products plagues your closing percentage. Most other companies are cheaper, which means tough competition. Marketing for lead generation is poor.

Advice to Management

Everything comes down to price in this day and age. That doesn't mean you have to be the cheapest, but being 100%-200% higher than other company does make sales difficult even with our products being the best.

    Pros

Great company story, awesome products, very best training in the industry, commissions paid in full up front every week, decent benefits, company trips for outstanding performance, lots and lots of advertising means tons of leads

    Cons

Corporate and management are so full of themselves that they don't care about their employees, and they set easy-to-reach standards on paper but hold you accountable for double that performance in reality.

    Advice to Management

Keep good reps. If you've invested a bunch of time and energy on a quality rep, don't throw him or her away at the first sign of a slump or mistake.
