Champro Response
4yI’m sorry to hear that after so many years with us you felt this way.
In production roles tracking of productivity is an unfortunate reality. The company is selling a service and we need to understand and control costs to be viable. You are correct that there is less space for creativity in a production role.
I hope that you would be proud of the strong contribution that you made to immense change while you were here. You were a crucial part of a team that made amazing progress.
Taking excellent care of employees has always been a priority. I think it’s important to differentiate between managing costs to be competitive in a rapidly changing part of the market and being “cheap”. I hope that the funds that have been placed in your profit-sharing account over the years provide cause to rethink how we appreciate our team members. CHAMPRO far exceeds other U.S. companies with its contribution to increasingly rare employee profit-sharing accounts.
I’m sorry that you had an experience with a team member that so strongly affected how you view the entire company. We hope that team members will approach their manager, human resources or top management when there is a detrimental situation. We will do everything we can to make our team work well.
Every team member receives annual performance reviews. Increases in compensation are based on performance and not on tenure. We’re out to be the best team that we can be and I’m saddened to hear how your experience at CHAMPRO ended.
