Sr management focus on themselves and latest fad. Too bad - technology was awesome.

Advice to Management

Stick to a plan for atleast a year...employees can't keep up with the constant changes.

    Pros

Being with a start up is exciting and extremely rewarding on several levels. First of which, is the quick ability to grow within the company and be recognized much quicker than in comparison to a large corp. I love the benefits that are offered here. Quite frankly, because the C-level comes from an old school Microsoft background, we are lucky enough to have a lot of the corproate life transfered to this company. In a company this size, particularly within our management team, they truly care about an employee's input.

    Cons

While the growth potential is better than most, it does seem that it is almost impossible to penetrate upper management because these members are for the most part the original cast that started the company. I wish the sales environment offered a more open competitiveness to all of their sales leaders.

    Advice to Management

Mid management, mid management, mid management! Also, in order to get the most talented sales people through out the US, you must not adhere to interviewing people with just tech backgrounds. An intelligent and polished sales person can be taught whatever he/she needs to sell. Whereas, you cannot teach talent!

    Pros

    Perks. Offices. Software oriented company

    Cons

No Job security. New employees are not appreciated, and honest dissenting opinion is not welcomed by most senior management staff.

I was let go for pointing out the design flaws in the architecture which eventually will fail.

If you are honest, talented, and ambitous, please stay away from this company.

    Advice to Management

Please don't lay off the critical staff for the most important product, and cut somewhere else.
