I have been working at Chase part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Best job I have ever had. I love it here and everyone works together to accomplish the same goals. Also there are not a high number of employees so everyone knows everyone which I like.

    Cons

I could see the company being able to pay out a little more for successful referrals.

I worked at Chase part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great hours and pay. Better then working a McDonalds. Opportunities to move up are all over the place.

    Cons

A bad manager can make your job hell. You constantly get sick. Depending on the area you work, ignorant / angry customers can be a huge problem. You will have to learn basic Spanish if you want your work day to go smooth.

    Advice to Management

The Teller is the face of the bank. Management puts a lot of pressure on the Tellers to inform and convince the customers of new features and services the bank. While there is some small reward for each "walk over" it in no way reflects or rewards the effort of the Teller. If you do not get a certain amount of walk overs your manager may have a meeting with you, cut your hours, or send you back to training.
