I worked at Check Point Software Technologies full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Free lunch, good medical, casual attire

Cons

The policy changes on daily basis, never in writing. You are micro-managed to death with your 'worthiness' based on numbers that don't reflect the things most employers desire. Management constantly berates you to the point you are unable to focus on job. Constantly dealing with management. Insufficient training - not what is promised. 70% of the employees constantly job hunting due to being miserable.

Advice to Management

Give sufficient training to be able to effectively deal with customers. Daily and weekly stats are not necessary - limit it. Management needs to make more effort to not berate to the point you dread going to work. Realize the high stress involved with the job and reduce "sweat shop" mentality.

    Pros

Learn many aspects of industry-leading firewalls very quickly
    Great benefits
    Free lunch
    Great stock purchase program
    Teamwork is highly encouraged

    Cons

    The pay is comparatively awful
Management can play favorites, although I hear that has changed now
Some degree of micro-management from Israel

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees what they are worth, and they will stick around longer. Check Point is a great place to work. If you took a poll of why technical advisers left, the number 1 reason would be because they were offered more elsewhere.
