Pros

Good benefits, high volume, good food, nice environment, great co-workers, most managers are great to work with, number of employees make it easy to get time off

Cons

Very poor tip percentage towards the end of the night. Business is very sparatic and it is very hard to predict business and income

Advice to Management

Company mandated bi-annual employee evaluations to allow for correction of shortcomings and for personal growth are a must; In such a large restaurant where employees do not get individual time with workgroup managers the 10 minutes every 6 months can make a world of difference for the restaurant as a whole

    Pros

The best part of working for CCF was all the knowledge I gained through smart practices. They really have their act together and know how to make and execute great food and operate on a large scale. They have organized and well written training for every position and constant corporate support that manages everything. Direct management in store is great and a real team environment. Corporate management not so great.

    Cons

You are only a # in a sea of other amazing managers and it is difficult to shine. There's no room for ideas and everything is decided for you already. 55-60 hours a week guaranteed unless you're the GM. Shifts are high stress from start to finish. Advancing your career requires jumping through hoops of fire to impress the right people; and somehow finding the time and mental capacity to add studying and test taking to your daily routine. Schmoozing and overachieving is also required, and "I'm so sorry" or "Absolutely!" will become your most common vocabulary.

    Advice to Management

There's more to life than cheesecake....eat more slowly!

    Pros

Fun atmosphere - surrounded by nice people.
Customers are generally upper class - you're not dealing with McDonald's guests here.

    Cons

Longer shifts than a lower scale restaurant.
