I worked at ChenMed full-time for more than a year

      Pros

I really loved it at Chenmed. I loved what they stood for, I loved the technology, and I loved my leadership team. Everyone cares about you as a person and your career. My visa didn’t allow me to stay there, but I hope I will be able to return some day. Most talented group of directors and senior management I’ve ever worked for.

      Cons

Was unable to stay because of my visa

      Doesn't Recommend
      Neutral Outlook
      Disapproves of CEO

I worked at ChenMed full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

Free healthcare if you not a parent nor married, 6% match 401k after 1 year, the people and patients, awesome bias against employees of color

      Cons

"Management" "Team based approach" Egos The ChenMed values kool-aid Micromanagement Excessive strain on employees' health (physical, mental, spiritual) Being forced to accept being lied upon or disrespected Retaliatory practices Threats to employment

      Advice to Management

Actually visit markets, take the immediate side of your subordinate, understand and know when they are overwhelmed, realize that the always in meetings excuse is a complete cop out, be supportive of your team and actually have a spine and fight for them
