    Great people with a staunch dedication to the company

    Cons

    Without an engineering degree or being a member of the good 'ole boy network, it is very difficult to get promoted solely on proven ability.

    Job descriptions and expectations should be standardized based on competencies that can be measured. Look outside the box for potential leaders.
