You have control over your schedule. And where exactly you go. Depending on the school you may even have control over what subject you teach. The kids can be sweethearts and some days really make your heart swell. It can be fun and playful. And kids are funny and silly. They can be so loving and kind to.
Cons
No consistency. Sometimes you may not work at all. You can move to school to school. But often you stick with certain schools. You’re expected to know things that are impossible to know. It can be chaotic. Kids are on a different level nowadays and one way or another your winging it most of the time. It can also be very emotional and stressful dealing with so many kids at once.
