I have been working at Chick-fil-A full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Breaks are with free food (a meal of your choice). Free drinks. Semi-regular raises. Hours that you may work are VERY flexible. The Company truly cares about customers. This business also has scholarships available to employees.

Cons

Difficult customers. Long days and sometimes irregular hours. Standing and walking all day. It gets very hot whether you're in the kitchen or working with the customers. Fast paced environment.

    Doesn't Recommend

I have been working at Chick-fil-A part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good corporation with high standards, strict values and great customer service. Flexible scheduling.

    Cons

Shift managers are rude and condescending to employees and behind customers' backs. Many (especially new and/or part-time) employeers are afraid to ask questions for fear of being bereated. Turn over rate for this location is high and most that work here are unhappy because of how they are treated on a daily basis by the management.

    Advice to Management

Managers, including shift leaders on up, need to treat their employees with respect. With that, it would be a great place to work. Without it, it's miserable.
