An excellent mission of helping children who are in the worst case possible.
Cons
Large and old corporation means there is a lot of bureaucratic baggage.

Pros
The people working here are wonderful. Everyone is helpful and kind and generally there to help patients.
Cons
Salaries and raises do not keep up with inflation. They keep touting that they are trying to get salaries in-line with the averages (the average salaries for our jobs) but by keeping salaries from increasing (offering minimal raises) and waiting on higher paid elder workers to retire, they are bringing the "average salary" down (which I suspect is the plan). Pediatrics is paid poorly enough already without help to bring the salaries down. Then they say compensation is down for the hospital. Well, if you bring the average salaries for physicians down, insurance reimbursements will get in line with that and say there is no reason to pay more because doctor's average salary isn't going up. In the end, I suspect they are shooting themselves in the foot by trying to keep the hospital in the black by keeping physician salaries low, because I think it will just keep insurance reimbursement low.
