    Pros

Great corporate culture and benefits. Competitive bonus structure. The company is performing well and growing rapidly. Leaders are accessible and friendly.

    Cons

It can be hard to move laterally and there are not many defined career paths. Also not a flexible work-from-home schedule.

    Pros

+Competitive Compensation +Benefits +Experience +Career Mobility Chipotle isn’t the normal employer, they give you a wide range of compensations including college tuition or our right funding for it completely. + Over time after 8 You can get paid a premium rate after working 8 hours meaning every minute after 8 hours of working you get paid a premium

    Cons

-Compensation Compared to other companies, chipotle is falling behind in this category unless your AP or General Manager etc, expect wages that are simply lower than other companies. Again it’s competitive in a way where as the average member gets paid more than most companies, except you can quite easily find a company that will outright pay you more for your labor. To make up for this, chipotle has various benefits and upward Mobility. It’s up to you whether you need benefits or money. -Hours This is where things become a fine line between different jobs. You see, getting 40 hours from chipotle is a rarity, at least in Georgia. Ive looked at reports as a manager and saw that the only full time employee is the general manager. You can get 40 hours as a part time member but it’s NOT guaranteed. Having 40 hours is a significant factor when it come to a pay check. I have employees question why they work so much but get paid so little. It’s because they may work out many hours a day but all in all it, it is always below 40 hours. Even as a manager, I wasn’t allowed to touch 40 hours and they’re a stickler for overtime. Meaning working over 8 hours will have you scolded unless you work a double, but even then you have to be scheduled for those hours. Meaning, working doubles will only net you below 40 hours of pay regardless of over time. This significantly lowers pay as someone without over time after 8 can easily get paid more working over 40 hours. -Inconsistent pay If you want guaranteed pay, your gonna have to try and make something shake because that simply won’t happen. Some rely on 40 hours a week and for chipotle, it’s normal for them to CONSTANTLY change your hours. In fact if you have over time one week, they may drop your hours the next week. Or if you have over time one week but they don’t allow it, they will try to drop your hours then add that over time from that week into the next week all I’m the sake of “labor”. Idk if chipotle uses federal funding or real estate or credit or out right pays it’s employees, I just know they have a bad limit on labor and it’s contradictory. What I mean by that is, they’d hire more people instead of letting the people who WANT to work more, work. They’d hire knew people and give the a hire wage than the previous employee, but won’t increase much wage for the previous. They will hire new people after a sudden high turn over rate just happened and will now give compensation to loyal based employees. It’s a constant rate of I want new talent vs culturing what’s actually making the company tick. And I say that because the new employees are usually the ones to leave first!
