Former Employee - Shift Supervisor in Saint Paul, MN
    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

    I worked at Chuck & Don's full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Helping other pet owners, their needs and seeing dogs on a daily basis.

    Cons

Pay rate Management Forced to be salesperson so management can meet sales goals to get a big bonus for themselves. Does not practice what they really preach Double standards within management teams other than supervisors. Treating employees like a number, their work ethics is based on numbers and reports rather than engaging with the team to really see who's doing their job or not.

    Advice to Management

A change of career might be reconsider if you don't want to be in your store helping out with the team rather than sitting in the office on cell phone on pinterest or other things not work related. You should not be paying your shift supervisor the same pay rate as your team members. People do talk and share their pay rates. Not good practice. Set a good example to the team, lazy managements makes lazy team. Your... team will only want to work as hard as how they see you as a manager work.
