Great place to work for Licensed MH Counselors

    Pros

Crisis Triage Department is the Cigna Evernorth 24/7 resource for customers to call for Mental health and Substance abuse help. Positive work environment, work from home, above market compensation, excellent training during onboarding, good benefits, supervisors don’t micromanage clinicians, opportunities for overtime if you want it, holiday pay as well, freedom to use clinical skills and judgment create a rewarding job experience with a lot of job satisfaction

    Cons

PTO process can be a pain so you have to plan in advance for time off but co-workers are good about swapping shifts. Not a starter or entry level position definitely Definitely need good clinical skills and experience in various systems and levels of care including crisis work to be able to handle the job. There are a lot of computer systems and benefit info to learn so someone without experience in health care world will get lost easily.

Awesome company, low pay, decent benefits

    Pros

Cigna takes care of employees very well! 1 month off for paternity leave (paid), 3 months of paid maternity leave, 18 PTO days to start, mental health days etc. They also invest and help with career training. I’ve never had a bad boss and they truly try to help you find your place in the company, even if it’s not in your current role. Most employees have hybrid work schedules.

    Cons

They still want you back in the office due to some older management preferences. They also are cheap when it comes to raises compared to the market. Health insurance premiums for employees are also very expensive which feels weird for an insurance company.
