I have been working at Cintas full-time

Pros

4 day work week. Decent insurance.

Cons

They don't pay overtime at time and a half, they use a varying calculation. They deduct a lunch break from you even though you will never be able to take one. You don't really get paid holidays, they make you work your days off to compensate. There is never enough product to service your clients, but you have to charge your clients anyway.

I worked at Cintas full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The pros of working for Cintas are the great training they provide, very competitive compensation and quality products. Everybody wants you to succeed from your peers to management to upper management.

    Cons

The biggest challenges are that the numbers and goals of the operations team conflict with the numbers and goals of the sales team. Constant head butting going on. I shouldn't have to sell my own company on why this new piece of business is good for all parties. They should trust that i'm making good decisions.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the turn and burn sales philosophy. It turns good sales people off. I think you would keep your best people on board, but most importantly the lost business numbers would decrease significantly if they rep that sold the account initially could continue to work and grow that business.

    Pros

Cintas is a fast paced, results oriented workforce, that gets it right with the customer. The customer is the main focus in all that we do.

    Cons

Change is inevitable. Constant change due to market changes can be a bit chaotic at times.

    Advice to Management

Introduce a mentoring program company wide to insure proper onboarding with new partners to get them up and running from day one.
