Pros

Good to the employees, good to the customers. Most good hard working people will prosper with the company. Lazy people will not.

Cons

Nobody is perfect. Some days are better than others. Cintas will definatley give you more good days than bad. It's up to the person to make bad days, good ones.

Advice to Management

Keep up on the promotions. Sometimes we lose focus towards the end of the promotion time frame. Also ask questions of your people.

    Pros

Good Benefits, fair pay, stable company, opportunity to move withing the company, promotions, good bonus potential. They do a lot for their front line partners...ie cookouts, prizes, gifts, ect.

    Cons

Long hours have to be worked when in management. The uniform business is very competitive always fighting to keep customers happy and with Cintas. Cintas prices themselves out of many markets. Price increases on customers constantly!

    Advice to Management

Stop raising customer prices multiple times per year. It is hard enough to keep customers with inflation driving costs. When the leadership needs a bump in pay or a new project the customer pays for it dearly. Quality isnt always the name of the game as it once was. Cintas is now a corp giant that milks every customer dry,

    Pros

Not stuck in an office all day. You can really make some good friends out on route, even find a great trustworthy mechanic. Starting pay isn't bad, benefits are great. Potential for a gravy route the longer you stay. 4 day work week.

    Cons

Early morning meetings at 5:30am, 12 hour days, no overtime (it's called Premium Pay which doesn't mean 1.5X your normal rate), some managers don't manage anything so you do all the work on your route, raises are almost non-existent, some customers kill your potential for a nice bonus. Sometimes too many (account managers/sales) involved in your accounts.

    Advice to Management

If the economy is the reason for no pay increases then you can't expect the economy is not a reason customers leave Cintas. Also price gouging the customer only makes all parties involved with a bad taste in their mouth. SSR is king and we aren't treated like that, if you have no one to run the route, you don't get the customer to pay for no service.
