I have been working at Cirrus Logic full-time (More than a year)

Pros

First, you get the right people on the bus. Then you decide where the bus will go. Cirrus goes to great lengths to hire the right people. I have seen dozens of people passed up in search of the right team member. That kind of hiring discipline is a primary driver of Cirrus' growth. It is an an open secret which has been surprisingly difficult to replicate at other companies.

Cons

We have struggled with hiring enough staff to keep pace with revenue growth.

Advice to Management

Listen to your CEO. Take the lessons to heart. You don't drive 200% growth by accident. Continue to attract and retain outstanding people.

I have been working at Cirrus Logic full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Awesome group of senior designers to learn from
The managers are usually easy to work with
    No sense of hierarchy
    Good efforts are recognized

    Cons

Very little scope to contribute as an analog engineer in my team at this moment(but I believe its going to change in future)
Too loud music in concerts :)

    Advice to Management

Don't put every possible resource on a prime project. I know we are chasing tight schedules - but what ends up happening is - the work gets too much compartmentalized and people lose the chance to widen their skill sets.
