Approves of CEO

Pros

work life balance, great benefits, for the most part great people to work with, work remotely full time

Cons

no more perks, pay for your cell even though its work related, pay for internet even though you use it to for work, promotions in IT come every 4-5 years, salary and grade levels not at market rate, huge bureaucracy and too heavily process oriented in IT makes it difficult to complete projects in a shorter time

Advice to Management

provide career advancement every 2-3 years and promote the good and great workers. stock options or RSU's not worth it, so give more bonuses and promotions

    Pros

    It is a big company.

    Cons

Management and people at the highest levels are not quality decision makers. There is a great deal of fear and silence to keep your job. If you speak up or try to fix issues you are not supported.

    Advice to Management

Read more management books. Need more team work and support, less internal competition.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

It feels great when you leave.

    Cons

Managers are sweatshopping engineers trying to compete not with the marketplace but instead with other groups doing the same exact thing. What a huge waste. Being forced to work late and weekends is awful, and if you do manage to get your own work done during " normal" hours you still have to come in weekends "for the team". Apparently you dont have enough to do if you are getting your job done during the week. After all that, no raise and no bonuses for me. So I left, got 2 offers in three days elsewhere and have never been happier.

    Advice to Management

Do your jobs and fire half the directors. Stop the waste of time racing teams against each other. And stop sweatshopping. Only the h1bs are your feudal serfs.
