I have been working at Cisco Systems full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

still some opportunities but limited by non-growth.

    Cons

    - big company environment
    - meager annual raises (usually none)
    - no more stock options (accept for Directors and above)
    - do we really need 12 levels of Management?

    Advice to Management

    - cut the over head and process and go back to being innovative
    - get rid of the 2 levels of Senior Managers, 3 levels of directors, 4 levels of VPs for every BU
