I worked at Citi full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Supportive & friendly co-workers-- worked for Citi in two different states
Culture of cooperation
Tuition reimbursement
Input for efficiency/improvement was welcomed by management

Cons

Laid off
Corporate management did not retain high performing centers, made decisions based upon geography

Advice to Management

Retain high performers, put more effort into finding new positions for those employees (especially those that have given nearly their entire careers to Citi) without relocating them.

I have been working at Citi full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They were great with Work-Life balance, and they were very flexible with all employees. Working from home was frequently an option if you had a conflict or bad weather, and work hours were very reasonable 95% of the time.

    Cons

Their pay is more than a 10% cut from the market rate, and raises have been less than cost of living over past 4 years. They don't make it easy to move internally, and their hiring process leaves much to be desired.

    Advice to Management

If you want to attract and retain top talent, you need to pay for it! Don't look to save money by cutting out coffee and water coolers, it only makes it less desirable to work there!

There are good teams, but they are few and far between

    Cons

The company is run by political factions
