Long hours at times can be overwhelming for some but most in technology do expect it and can thrive in this environment.

I worked at Citi full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great people. The environment is laid back, mostly younger people working there. The salary isn't to bad for this area. I was making $13.75 when I left. The benefits are pretty good too, you get health, dental, vision, 401k, and much more.

    Cons

Your boss, will never be happy. I felt like I was walking on egg shells all the time. They listen to 8-10 of your phone calls every month. When you times that by 10 - 15 people on a team, you never get time with your boss for training, or mentoring on what you can do better.

    Advice to Management

More one on ones with your teams. Less time on the phones, stop pressuring people and stop micro managing people, and they would probably stay longer. (this place is a revolving door)
