Pros

Citi is one of the most progressive banks in terms of culture. We have a heavy focus on DEI efforts and I feel supported as a human being by the CEO Jane Fraser. Her goal is to make Citi a bank with a soul.

Cons

Req loads can be high and managers difficult as with any other recruiting job. The work hiring critical employees is clearly critical to the operation of the bank, however the recruiters are not compensated accordingly. This job requires a lot of work going above and beyond expectations however I was surprised my bonus did not reflect my performance review ratings. Overall - I'm able to balance my life, family, and hobbies around this job which is way more important to me than money. Citi is still one of the best places I have worked.
