No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Citizens Bank part-time (More than a year)

Pros

There are not many perks of working here. The people you work with are as good as it's going to get. They like their customers more than their employees.

Cons

High turn over rates, ridiculous sales goals, customer service is shoved in your face and the survey customer take are unrealistic. Don't know how to keep employees happy.

Advice to Management

Hire some managers that actually know how to motivate, and retain employees

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Citizens Bank full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

It was an awesome learning experience. I moved up pretty quickly and had the opportunity to make some great connections.

    Cons

The fact that I had to put in my two weeks notice before I was even considered for a decent raise, and working mandantory overtime without compensation were two of the main reasons that I left the company. I was never under 150% of my sales goals and at one point was at 300%. I was promoted with no monetary increase.

    Advice to Management

Upper management should award hard work and dedication. It costs less to coach, develop and reward the loyal people that you have than to deal with constant turnover because of your lack of direction, attention, and appreciation for your field staff.

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

Benefits including tuition reimbursement, 401k match, great health benefits and paid holidays.

    Cons

Too much micro management. Claim to stress customer service but really just want sales (proven by reward system). Pressure has increased twofold the past couple years.
