Pros

good benefit and higher salary; comprehensive core facilities; has support for PI without grant for a while; beautiful campus, and good weather, and is at Los Angeles metropolitan.

Cons

focused too much on clinical sciences, weak on basic science research. difficult for postdoc to continue their academic career. slow on ordering reagents.

    Pros

    The institute has very health envrionment for cancer related research, considering fundings (government and private foundations). Competetion is not so high, people are nice.

    Cons

    Research level is not very competitive considering top publication numbers.
