Pros

It is good perks as permenant staff. You can have work life balance and job security within the City itself

Cons

Hard to get in as permenant staff. Less efficiency ,bureaucractic working environment. Less communication between senior level and junior one.

Advice to Management

there are many area to improve especially operational efficiency. The big picture is lacking in employee's mind set. Everyone look after himself.

    Pros

    Great Comp, great benefits and a fairly secure job to have. Atmosphere is great depending on where you work since it's a very large organization

    Cons

    Lack of competent Senior Management Teams and bad decisions continue to affect the productivity and efficiency possibilities of many divisions.

    Advice to Management

    Hire young and talented individuals instead of fostering cronyism will go a long way to make City of Toronto a much better run public sector organisation
