I have been working at Cloudreach full-time

    Pros

Been with Cloudreach several years. It has plenty more ups than downs but sometimes struggles under the weight of its own growth; it surges regularly, then needs to spend time balancing. If newbies can get through the first 6-12 months they generally do well and form very strong bonds. There is a distinct character type works at Cloudreach, it's easy to spot. Usually outgoing and smart; it's extremely rare to find people...

    Cons

Cloudreach can often be it's own worst enemy. Moving too fast, a desire to do things in a certain way, sometimes lack of process. Compensation is finally being addressed after a few years being behind the curve, though I would have preferred shares. Free beer and lunch is fine to a point but would like to see more meaningful grown up benefits. Deep expertise is sometimes hard to find, but the smart people have an attitude...

I have been working at Cloudreach full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Just in my short time here I've made so many new friends, I've grown to expect a certain standard of professionalism and openness (simply because other companies I've been at before have PALED in comparison). Some benefits that have absolutely changed my life include: Easily accessible senior management Flexibility to get done what you need to get done (it's this flexibility that makes CR excel far past their...

    Advice to Management

Continue to grow, but keep to your cloudy roots, continue to be energetic and open about the good things and never stop sharing the good, bad, and the ugly with your teams

I worked at Cloudreach full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The individual contributors and engineering talent is there; if you are just starting out your career, Cloudreach peers will help you in any way they can because we genuinely want you to succeed, in spite of leadership. Unlimited time off and flexible work schedule allows you to take care of personal life and relationships comfortably, without affecting work. People are friendly, and enjoy spending time with each...

    Cons

Ever since a new CEO was brought on in August 2018, a few organizational restructurings and pivots have happened. Since then, the company has completely lost any semblance of an identity in who it is, and what it stands for. A few examples are illustrated below: - Grassroots campaigns like the Alliance for Partnerships and Inclusion (API) has completely lost focus, and pretty much fallen apart due to lack of interest...

    Advice to Management

LOYAL; Listen or you always lose. Listen to those who are leaving, listen to those who have been with Cloudreach a long time to see why people have been sticking around. If you don't pay us enough, at least keep the culture that has fostered so much personal growth and amazing technical solutions that have come through. Don't shy away from getting to know individuals who are the most vocal. Also, be honest and transparent....
