Cobham is a big company that can withstand downturns in the economy.

Cons

Cobham is sometimes slow to react and bureaucratic.

Advice to Management

Become open to new ideas, observe and react to market forces. Invest in future products and become less risk adverse.

    Pros

    Strong company with assets. Understands the European military market but has not a clue about how to do business in the US.

    Cons

    Where to start...

    UK based and upper management does not comprehend nor understands the US market at any level
    Poor management at all levels
    Bad decision making
    Destroys companies through consolidation and M&A's
    Treats employes as disposable.
    They do not recognize talent unless you hold a British passport
    No bonus structure
    Has never heard the term "Brand Equity."

    Advice to Management

    Recognize and reward. Stop managing from the 1965 management text book and get into the 21st century. If it's not broke, NO NOT TRY AND FIX IT!
