I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time (More than a year)

Pros

An excellent brand name, all the free soda you can drink while on the corporate campus, an amazing cafeteria, concerts or events about every two months for everyone on campus.

Cons

Really long work hours, an out of touch management, resistance to change, out of date and aging systems. The company is more interested in who to blame than finding a solution -- this is why things keep getting worse -- who wants to take a risk to make them better? It's like the movie Office Space -- you're motivated to do just enough not to get noticed and in trouble.

Advice to Management

Stop promising things to candidates that aren't reality -- that is why you're seeing such a turn over of new employees. Reward risk and embrace change!

I worked at Coca-Cola Company full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Working with a selection of "the best of the best", truly global foot print, good prospects for an international career if you like that kind of thing.

    Cons

Highly political, and slow at corporate HQ level. Target setting is highly dependent on superiors. Some are great, some are very vague.

    Advice to Management

In order to move faster in marketing, it might be an idea to move towards a leaner (!) marketing organization. Plus a closer relationship between personal targets and bonus would be good at all senior levels.

I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The starting pay is "ok" considering how much the company brings in, it should be wayyy more.

    Cons

The seniority thing is ridiculous and unfair. The hours are longgg...youll never get to see your family. You work through your 1/2hr lunch on a 12.5hr shift..then eat while you drive to your next location. Better get a set of new feet while your at it cause feet and back problems are with the non- office jobs. The list goes on and on but beware the money looks appetizing but ull see from day one. Illl never look at CCR the same.

    Advice to Management

Hire more people for the physical labor jobs. The union should cover from day one its only fair for the people who go through this typical behavior being practiced on workers. It just make the person despise the company they work for and everyone gripes and complains about it.
