I worked at Coca-Cola Company full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Pay is good. Co-workers are friendly. There aren't too many meetings and you can set up your work day the way you want to.

Cons

Management will push you to work well beyond your 40 hours. This job is very physical and if you don't like to load coolers are move cases of soda around this is not the position for you.

Advice to Management

Make goals realistic. Give the employees time to do paperwork with in the day and praise them for good work. There has to be a work/life balance.

I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

You have the Coca-Cola name recognition on your resume for your next job search.

    Cons

    Long hour
    Constant budget cuts
    Negative work environment
Poor management constantly giving different direction to employees
Vehicle policy is a joke 20cents per mile and 277 a month sounds great but you must have a newer car with top end insurance and you end up paying out of your own pocket every month.
    Pay is low
Customers treat you like crap you end up in the slum carryouts trying to sign shady Arabs to a contract you know they will never fulfill.
Way to many bosses not enough workers I have at least 4 people over me
They love to pile more stuff on you since there are so many bosses they just come up with more crap for you to do new computer programs you have to master, diplays they want built, stores set to brand flow but you are the one who usually doesn't do the filling.
Wasteful spending on pos materials and it never what you need
Your efforts are never good enough no matter how successful there's always something that could have been done better.
Out of date product is a nightmare products come from the warehouse with less than 45 days to sell and its your fault if it goes outdated I've been written up 3 times for outdated product that wasn't my fault
I could keep going but I hope anyone thinking about working for coke reads first.
Overall not a good place to work

    Advice to Management

Outdates should be measured by profit made per route not cases sold. Come up with a clear company direction and price structure stop changing things every 5 min. Pay employees 55 cents per mile your vehicle policy is a joke. You cant give employees a 2 % raise and say you can't afford any more then give the ceo a 10% raise. Eliminate 2 middle management positions in sales you don't need a district manager, area manager, and regional manager. Put more salesman on the street 90 accounts in 1 week is too many for one person.

I worked at Coca-Cola Company part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

decent pay check, opportunity to move up if you work hard enough, great for networking, and you can make a lot of friends

    Cons

"Old Boys Club" is very relevant, while you have the opportunity to make a lot of friends you can also make a lot of enemies. Work life balance is non existent, some of the managers are absolute perfectionists and HAVE to have things done a certain way.

    Advice to Management

Have Merchandiser appreciation days, there are too many guys who are getting burned out after working long days and hearing negative feedback from their superiors.
