Pros

Great involvement in projects. Great inclusion into departmental activities and initiatives. Challenging assignments that lead to enhancements. Overall pleasant intern experience.

Cons

No real cons unless you don't enjoy working in your department. Long hours required to complete some assignments, however should not be anything unrealistic.

Advice to Management

Continue including interns on projects and incorporating them into the CCE culture. Fantastic leadership under John Brock and CFO Bill Douglas.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

    There are some people in the organization who are quite good at what they do and great to work with. Another perk is the 3 weeks vacation policy - even for new hires. Pay is average to below market but the bonus payout (if you are MIP eligible) can be 20k plus. If you love the Coke brand, and are new to the job force, this could be a good fit.

    Cons

    This is a tough place for experienced hires: in all likelihood you will work for someone who lacks the depth or years of experience you bring. A couple of delusions to watch out for: 1) delegating = managing; 2) employee engagement surveys=growing employees; 3) 100+ concurrent projects managed by people with no PM experience is acceptable practice. Bottom line...drink the products but don't join/stay long otherwise your skills will rot.

    Advice to Management

    No advice....in fact, I think management's actions are more informative than anything I could say. Take the mega payouts from CCR and keep your mouths shut until something better comes along.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

    Good pay relative to market;
    Excellent benefits;
    World-class brand equity;
    Good training & /professional development opportunities;

    Cons

    Old-school culture, very resistant to change, leadership gives lots of lip service to innovation, but culture generally remains stuck in the old ways of doing business;
    Diversity focus leads to preferential treatment of certain demographics for promotions;
    Inconsistent performance management routines;
    Middle management clogged w/ older folks who are just running out the clock until retirement, few advancement opportunities opening up for younger employees, stagnant;
    Inconsistencies in workload distribution;
    Political connections (vs. results) play way too much of a role in who gets ahead;

    Advice to Management

    Have the courage to trim the dead weight out of the middle and upper-middle management ranks; Learn to encourage and reward individual initiative at the lower levels vs. punishing it
