Great Beginner Job, But Don't Stay Too Long

Food Handling Experience. Free Ice Cream On Shift. Customer Service Experience. Cake Decorating Experience. Tips. Fun Environment. Simple Tasks. Flexible Schedule (If There Are Enough Workers, That Is.) Management is very nice, they'll have your back when it comes to customers. (Corporate will not)
Cons
Little to no 10 or 15-minute breaks. No lunch breaks. Sometimes you are completely on your own for an entire shift. No paid time off or vacation time. No sick time off. No holiday pay. Owner presence is mostly for restocking the back/ bringing money for the registers. Schedules are often very late to be finalized. Coldstone's Corporate doesn't care about the employees or their well-being at all. They only care about money. They will side with an insane customer over a long-time employee and/or actual camera footage. So many OSHA violations, seriously. Everyone acts as if they care about it until it comes down to actually having to pay to make things safer and/or more comfortable for the employees. I'm writing this with the help of 3 other former employees, we all agree that this place is a good first job, but try to not stay long enough to see it falling apart and taking you down with it.
