    I worked at CollabNet full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    * Friendly staff and co-workers
    * Flexible working hours (days off, sick days, work remotely the ONLY HUGE plus!)
    * Ping-pong table, arcade, kitchen
    * Views to the San Francisco bay
    * Parking lot

    Cons

    * Low pay compared to other tech companies
    * Awkward location if you need public transportation
    * NO CAREER prospects... Let me repeat: NO CAREER prospects.
    * MAJORITY of employees cultivates an old-school culture: lack of innovation and leadership.
    * Unqualified employees for the job (mixed academic background for different positions).
    * Lack of integrating new investments (Separate divisions lead to confusion and there's no "one-team" in this company).
    * "Talents" are the ones who sell and do customer service. Marketing, Engineering, Legal are NEVER recognized as having talents or quarterly awards.

    Advice to Management

    * Recognize the true talents of your company.
    * Integrate the divisions.
    * Invest in R&D, do not send core products to India
    * Hire people with specific degrees to the job (Statistics for Analytics, Engineering/Computer Science for Engineering, etc.)
